Edifying the Body of Christ through teaching the Word

What to Expect

Sunday Morning Worship-

Morning worship beings at 10:30 am and normally is over at 11:45 am and never later than noon.

What to Wear-

Dress for the morning worship is casual. When you come you will see people wearing everything from      slacks to jeans.

What happens-

Worship is traditional with the singing of hymns. There is also a time in the service to give prayer request and every Lord's Day we observe the Lord Supper (communion). Everyone is welcome to participate in the communion service regardless of whether or not you are a member. During the service there is an opportunity given for the members to give their offerings to support the church. Visitors are not asked nor expected to give during this time. Depending on the Sunday you attend you may be privileged to hear one of our talented members sing a special.

Our Preaching-

After the special singing we have a time that is set aside to study the Bible. This usually last for 30 minutes. The style of preaching at our church is verse be verse through the Bible, making the scriptures easy to understand and relevant to our lives. Currently we are in the gospel of John on Sunday mornings, the book of Exodus on Sunday night, and the the book of Romans on Wednesday nights.

After the Message-

After the message is given there will be a closing song. During this song people are encouraged to consider the message and how the Lord is working in their life. As we sing this song the minister or one of the elders will be in the front of the church to answer any questions you may have to help in your decision to become a follower of Christ. No one is ever pressured or embarrassed to make them come forward. If you have questions and are not comfortable in coming to the front of the church we always make ourselves available to meet with you in a more private setting.
